Santa has come to town

Well another Christmas has come and gone. We all must have been good boys and girls this year because everybody got what they wanted. Some even got what they've always wanted. Katelyn had a great time opening hers and everybody else's gifts. We will never forget the look on her face Christmas morning when she saw what Santa brought her. She loved her new Barbie 4 wheeler so much, she ran it into the tree! And she has yet to take off her princess shoes. Gotta love it!

This is her second year sitting with Santa. She really wanted no part of him. I think it was his beard. Someday she'll figure out he's the one who brings the gifts.

Christmas countdown

So this is our first blog entry and what better to talk about than the holiday season that has been in my face for about 2 months now. But I love the holidays, so there shouldn't be too much complaining. We officially have 23 days left. Chris and I experienced our first Black Friday last week. We woke up at 3:30 to stand in a 200 person line at Toys R Us. Half of me thought "Am I crazy?" and the other half thought "No, the man behind me with his 3 year old is crazy!!!" Chris and I divided and conquered and we were out of there in thirty minutes. I love the holidays!
